Background Information

Personality: Blunt and temperamental, the Oracle is a girl who is used to being in charge, and she rarely misses a chance to remind you of that. However, that is not to say that she isn't cunning as well—far from it. Surrounded by people who have been trying to manipulate her since her birth, she's developed manipulative talents of her own, and you'll never know what to expect from her. But despite all of her power and intelligence, Seria is still very much a twelve-year-old girl, and her temper tantrums can testify to that effect.

History:
The Oracle is considered to be Vadonna's voice on earth, recognizable by a birthmark shaped in Vadonna's Eye. Always female and always a prodigy in magic (though it is unknown whether Vadonna chooses a talented girl or whether it is Vadonna's gift that causes it), the Oracle has been born into every race except the Bloodskins. The new Oracle is born the moment the old one passes, and the baby is brought into Chyston and raised by priests the moment she's found. The Oracle is forbidden from exiting the High Temple or meeting with her family until she comes of age, and she goes through intense studies of ceremonial magic in order to fulfill her role. The Oracle's sight allows her to warn Edians of impending disasters weeks before they happen, often saving countless lives and valuable property. She is also the head of the High Temple and all of Chyston, and it would not be a far stretch to say that the Oracle is the most powerful person in Edia.

Seria's family was a poor merchant family in Malveria who never expected such a windfall, and they were happy to collect the large compensation they received in exchange for handing over their daughter. Thus, Seria was brought into Chyston by the time she was one month old, and she was raised by her two Templar retainers, both of whom still watch over her to this day. Expected to shoulder the fate of a whole continent, she studied tirelessly and is considered talented far beyond her age, even for an Oracle. Though she has never stepped outside the temple, Vadonna's gift has allowed her to see all of Edia with magic, and she eagerly awaits her coming of age at 36.
